Solo Solutions is an accounting office ready to work alongside you as a dedicated and tailored task force, coach, or counsel.
You cannot build success for yourself or full business potential with weak fundamentals. I learned this early in my schooling in Latvia, a small Baltic country that was part of the Soviet Union (USSR) until it gained independence when I was two years old. My early education was at a school that emphasized athletic results and, compared to many of our peers worldwide, did so with limited resources.
The importance of executing the basics well with detailed, disciplined consistency was drilled home for me when that schooling allowed me to travel and experience the United States via University, then again and again professionally as I worked interpreting NCAA bylaws, at PriceWaterhouseCoopers [pwc], and in the privately held businesses I observed elsewhere across different industries (including an emphasis in Real Estate and Ag).
How this is built into Solo Solutions:
- You can always better maximize the resources available to you. You might also be surprised at how little is actually required to get things done.
- Never stop looking for opportunities—but keep a defensive eye on risk.
- Focus on what gets results.
- There is no reason to delay execution, especially not because making progress may require feeling uncomfortable. [Please know that when working with me, by American culture standards I can be considered practically, sincerely direct.]
Learning the language of accounting/numbers has been much easier than learning English. But in both, there is always room for improvement. Grammar rules are straightforward; the nuance and value/meaning make the important difference.
Solo Solutions is named after my first son, Solomon.

Full Charge Bookkeeping
To know where you stand, you need a solid foundation—and Solo Solutions cannot responsibly build a strong financial house without confirming accuracy or complete clarity of information. Charge for full-charge bookkeeping services are a flat minimum, to include the fundamental tasks required to do good work for you. I work remotely and/or can arrange travel to your location if you are within a 1-hour drive of Sandpoint, Idaho. Your final fee is determined on a custom basis depending on the depth of services selected.
Services can include:
- Reconciliation of bank statementsThe time-demanding, detailed work you may do diligently because you are the owner—or may not, because you are the owner. I monitor for fraudulent, unusual, and/or accurate charges.
- Quarterly tax estimatesFor established businesses only.
- Managing accounts payable and receivableReceipts are recorded, and you receive reports on aging transactions.
- Payroll implementation and ongoing supportCan include:
- Entries related to payroll tax liabilities
- Transferring retirement plan deferrals and/or matches that may not integrate with your payroll system
- Preparing financial statementsSolo Solutions works closely with you to determine helpful insights you could need, and when you need them—delivered to your desk or inbox regularly.
Real Estate Analysis
- Existing Project AnalysisEvaluation of the ongoing financial performance, profitability, and cost compliance of an established property asset or real estate development, with an eye on optimizing all the above on an after-tax basis.
